About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Atoms Real Estate team in the UK. This internship offers hands-on experience across the full acquisition and development cycle, with potential exposure to international markets. You will contribute to sourcing, evaluating, and delivering development opportunities across the UK.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire suitable properties and development sites.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial models, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and internal reports.
• Manage planning applications from submission through to authorisation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, and developers.
• Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, and construction teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date real estate databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

What We’re Looking For

• A 2:1 or above in a relevant undergraduate or master’s degree.
• Ideally MRICS-qualified (or working towards), with prior experience in acquisitions or planning.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with excellent Excel and modelling skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first attitude with the ability to work independently.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
