Marketing Communications Intern

As a Marketing Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting marketing, communications, and branding initiatives across PhillipCapital. You will work closely with various Business Units and stakeholders to assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, corporate communications activities, media relations efforts, thought leadership programs, and client engagement events. This internship offers valuable exposure to a wide range of marketing communications functions within the financial services industry, including content creation, public relations, branding, event management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns & Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing, websites, social media, webinars, and digital platforms.
  • Assist in coordinating campaign timelines, content development, and deployment schedules.
  • Monitor campaign performance and support post-campaign reporting.

Content Creation & Branding

  • Assist in creating, editing, and proofreading marketing materials, website content, social media posts, and client communications.
  • Support the development of investor education content, market updates, articles, and promotional materials.
  • Conceptualize, film, and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
  • Work with colleagues across the organization to develop employee-generated content (EGC) that showcases company culture, thought leadership, and employee experiences.
  • Ensure content adheres to corporate branding and communication guidelines and maintains message consistency across various channels.

Corporate Communications & Media Relations

  • Support media monitoring and maintain media coverage reports.
  • Help coordinate media interviews and media-related enquiries.
  • Conduct research to identify media opportunities and industry trends.

Events & Client Engagement

  • Assist in the planning and execution of seminars, webinars, investment forums, and client events.
  • Support event logistics, registration management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Assist in post-event reporting and performance analysis.

Stakeholder & Project Coordination

  • Work closely with various Business Units to support marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, designers, and media partners when required.
  • Assist in tracking project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, or content creation tools would be a plus.
  • An interest in financial markets and the financial services industry would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese will be an added advantage to assist with Chinese marketing content and campaigns.
