Research Analysts (UK) - January - June 2027 - CURRENT GRADUATES ONLY

Q5 is looking for graduates to join our team in London for a 12-week period. These positions are in person, with two available start dates: 11 January 2027 and 5 April 2027.

This role will remain open, and interviews will continue until all positions are filled. The opening will then close, and all applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application.

About the Role

As a Research Analyst, you will gain real-world consulting experience in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will work alongside experienced consultants on live client projects, within our Datahub team, and on internal initiatives.

You will apply critical thinking, data-driven analysis, and Q5’s leading-edge suite of tools to help organisations solve complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Support consulting teams by conducting quantitative and qualitative research, analysis, and synthesis.
• Use data and Q5 tools to diagnose organisational challenges, test hypotheses, and support recommendations.
• Clean, structure, and interpret data using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Assist in developing models and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver insightful presentations, reports, and workshop materials.
• Participate in stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Contribute to internal projects, including knowledge sharing, marketing, and thought leadership.
• Attend training sessions and gain exposure to consulting methodologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with data and extract insights that improve business outcomes.
• Comfort using Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts, and/or data visualisation tools.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or analytical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, proactivity, and a willingness to learn.
