Summer Interns

NERA is currently hiring Summer Interns for many offices, including Boston, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, and White Plains (NY).

Responsibilities

The internship program will run from early June to mid-August. Summer interns are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Job responsibilities may include:

  • Designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data
  • Performing valuation analyses
  • Reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends
  • Creating trial exhibits and presentation materials
  • Writing code for complex data analysis
  • Participating in client meetings
  • Drafting memos and expert reports

There is little to no travel involved with the position.

Summer Researcher Qualifications

NERA welcomes candidates who have a BA or BS in any major, or a Master’s degree, graduating by Summer 2028. Qualified candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • The ability to work well on teams

Strong coursework and/or experience in finance, economics, accounting, statistical analysis/econometrics, and computer programming are desirable.

Compensation
