Private Wealth Management (PWM)
Private Wealth Management (PWM) secures, develops and manages relationships with high net worth individuals, their families, family offices and foundations. PWM helps clients build and preserve their financial wealth by creating and implementing long-term asset allocation aligned to each client’s risk tolerance, and by providing access to innovative investment ideas and opportunities. PWM professionals develop customized investment strategies and offer a full array of wealth management products and services, including private banking and trust company services.
The Client Outreach Team, part of the PWM Centre of Excellence, supports a seamless end-to-end client onboarding experience. The team works directly with clients and partners closely with sales, operations, and other stakeholders to open accounts efficiently and effectively.
Your Impact
A Wealth Management Professional in the Client Outreach Team delivers a seamless account-opening experience for PWM’s largest clients. The role works directly with advisors across the business to onboard clients efficiently and promptly, while also improving processes and establishing best practices for the wider PWM business.
How You Will Fulfil Your Potential
- Use operational experience to support a growing business
- Plan and manage the new account onboarding process
- Work closely with Private Wealth Advisors to onboard PWM clients
- Engage directly with clients throughout the PWM onboarding process
- Build an understanding of client structures
- Apply knowledge of Goldman Sachs client structures and jurisdictional requirements to a range of situations
- Apply knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify efficiencies and develop best practices for broader use
- Act as a key liaison with teams supporting PWM client onboarding
- Partner with Client Onboarding, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1–3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
- Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
- Commercially savvy with the ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential or sensitive information
- Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment
