What You’ll Do

On the Supply Acquisition & Onboarding (SA&O) team, you will help grow Wayfair’s supplier partnerships and support suppliers through the onboarding process—from “lead to live.” As an Acquisition Associate, you will identify, pursue, and reach agreements with new supplier partners to drive impact to Wayfair’s bottom line.

• Proactively approach and acquire potential new suppliers to drive revenue, product selection, and growth in GRS for new acquisitions.
• Use competitive intelligence, analysis, and intuition to identify valuable supplier partners.
• Make contact with decision-makers and communicate the benefits of partnering with Wayfair.
• Negotiate business terms and pricing to set up both Wayfair and suppliers for success.
• Drive benefits to Wayfair by acquiring new suppliers with meaningful impact on revenue and product selection.
• Cultivate business relationships and build a lead pipeline with practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate supplier data and ensure key information is captured and updated in internal systems.
• Lead meetings and calls with suppliers to review the benefits of the Wayfair partnership.
• Travel to trade shows with your Manager and cross-functional Category Management teams (approximately 4–6 times per year).
• Adapt quickly to change with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Stay informed on competitor and market trends to support strategic acquisition decisions.

What You’ll Need

• Interest in e-commerce, retail, merchandising, or related early career experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
• Ability and willingness to travel to industry trade shows (about 4–6 times per year).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate to solve problems and generate new ideas.
• Professional, bright, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to accept and act on managerial feedback.
• Ability to understand and drive results using metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Desire to be part of a team and contribute with entrepreneurship and initiative.
