Investment Banking Analyst, M&A

Role

We’re looking for someone to support the origination and execution of capital markets and M&A transactions involving private equity clients. You will support key workstreams across capital markets and M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and the preparation of client deliverables.

• Contribute innovative ideas and creative strategies to enhance client coverage and drive business growth
• Deliver confident and effective presentations to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Partner with global colleagues to ensure seamless execution of client transactions
• Exercise sound judgment and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory compliance

Team

You will work on the Mergers & Acquisitions team in New York. The M&A team includes professionals in Menlo Park, San Francisco, New York, London, Hong Kong, and globally. The team provides advisory services to private equity clients to facilitate capital markets and M&A transactions involving their portfolio companies or new investments, advising clients across all industries and geographies.

Key Requirements

• Ideally 1+ years of investment banking experience
• Experience in originating and executing public and private capital markets and M&A transactions
• Ability to work effectively with private equity clients
• Strong understanding of leverage finance
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant financial analyses
• Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and managing teams
• Undergraduate degree
