Integrity Operations Specialist (Scaled Abuse)

Bumble Inc. is looking for an Integrity Operations Specialist to join our Trust Operations team within the new Scaled Abuse pillar. This is a hands-on role for a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable working through ambiguity as the pillar is built from the ground up.

In this position, you will help shape Scaled Abuse operations by investigating complex moderation reports and building expertise in the Integrity & Authenticity harm domain. Success depends on the ability to think analytically and creatively—using data-driven insights alongside intuitive problem-solving to address complex challenges. You will partner closely with technical stakeholders on automation and tooling feedback, balancing structure with uncertainty while staying grounded in guidance.

This role is based in either Austin or London and reports to the Scaled Abuse Integrity Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Investigate and take action on user reports and proactive detections related to safety concerns, specifically in the Spam, Scam & Fraud space, applying policies and operational guidelines to make fair, consistent decisions.
• Handle a high volume of cases with strong attention to detail, balancing efficiency with thoughtful decision-making.
• Navigate new workflows and less defined cases by combining available guidance with sound judgment to make independent decisions.
• Apply critical thinking to assess context, identify patterns, and contribute to well-reasoned outcomes.
• Share observations and insights to improve operational processes, consistency, and overall safety outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrity Operations, Product, and Engineering to escalate complex cases when needed and provide consistent feedback on evolving moderation tooling.
• Use AI-supported tools and internal systems to support workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making, while carefully reviewing outputs for accuracy and fairness.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, supporting global operations.

About You

• Typically 1–2 years of experience, though candidates with alternative backgrounds demonstrating equivalent skills are welcome.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, customer support, crisis response, or content moderation, ideally with a focus on Spam, Scam & Fraud policy.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations, follow guidance, and make sound decisions even when information is incomplete.
• An analytical mindset to investigate complex cases while also tracking evolving patterns and emerging trends for policy guideline iteration.
• Ability to work within established processes while managing less structured tasks, using available guidance and sound judgment to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility and openness to evolving responsibilities, workflows, and team needs.
• Comfort with digital tools and systems, including learning new technologies and workflows quickly, particularly AI-enabled tools used in day-to-day work.
• Clear, compassionate communication with strong written and verbal skills.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote, independent work.
