Starting Salary: $21/hour and up

As a Citizens Teller, you make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers in our lobbies and create amazing customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and/or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
  • Help customers achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond effectively to questions and/or concerns.
  • Identify opportunities and connect customers to our Bankers for the next step.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated customer experience recommending and referring products and services to customers.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Complete a video interview assessment after applying (within 7 days of receiving the link). Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $24.15 - $29.30 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
