Job Description

Affinius Capital is seeking Interns to join its New York investment team in the Summer of 2027. The investment team evaluates and underwrites prospective investments across all of Affinius Capital’s investment vehicles. Summer Interns will be involved in all aspects of the underwriting, diligence, and closing processes for new investments.

Essential Duties

• Evaluate and underwrite prospective investment opportunities
• Execute and close transactions involving various property types
• Perform due diligence, including completing market analysis and coordinating with third-party service providers
• Generate financial analysis and investment committee memoranda detailing investment rationale, execution risks, and prospective returns
• Assist in the implementation of business plans, including leasing, financing, disposition, and ongoing portfolio surveillance
• Additional duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university majoring in Finance, Economics, Business, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related major, with an estimated graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
• Excellent academic background, with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred)
• Demonstrated interest in real estate through previous internships, extracurriculars, or coursework
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and financial modeling is preferred but not required
• Available for full-time onsite work in the New York office for 10 consecutive weeks in summer, beginning in early June 2027

Compensation

As required by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), Affinius Capital is including a good faith estimate for this role, with a starting hourly rate of $50.00. Employees may also be eligible to participate in other employee benefit programs, subject to the specific terms and eligibility requirements of such programs.
