Ceiling Fan Installer

Overview

PRISM+ is seeking a reliable Ceiling Fan Installer focused on customer satisfaction and safe, timely transportation of goods. The installer will pick up and drop off items, adhere to assigned routes and schedules, and collaborate with the delivery team to ensure items are complete, properly packed, safely delivered, and correctly installed for the client. The ideal candidate is polite, prompt, safety‑minded, and dedicated to providing an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
• Review orders before and after delivery to verify completeness, accurate charges, and customer satisfaction
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle client complaints
• Assess installation sites to determine the most appropriate location for the ceiling fan
• Ensure the ceiling is capable of supporting the fan and create a suitable mounting location
• Install and assemble the ceiling fan, wire it to the electrical system, and mount it securely to the ceiling
• Test the fan to ensure proper operation and identify any electrical or mechanical issues
• Clean up the installation site, including removal of debris and packaging materials
• Provide guidance to customers on usage and maintenance and address questions about the installation and products
• Provide a comprehensive range of electrical services, including pulling electrical wires and installing power switches
• Perform false ceiling works with customization to meet client needs safely and efficiently
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Submit daily and weekly reports to the direct manager
• Perform other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ceiling fans is a bonus
• Handyman experience is advantageous
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
• Basic command of English, spoken and written
• Valid driving license and ability to drive a 10-foot lorry/van
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Comfortable with a 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm)
