Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payments Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of our financial operations as we continue to scale globally.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including the timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
- Reconcile accounts, identify and resolve discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Support month-end closing procedures and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 1-2 years prior experience in payments or a general accounting role, preferably within a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency with accounting software (knowledge of Netsuite is a plus) and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency or financial services is advantageous but not required.
