Overview

Our Investment Banking & Capital Markets business provides the full range of investment banking products and services for large-cap and mid-cap corporates and financial sponsors. Our offering includes comprehensive financial advisory and capital-raising services, including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), underpinned by one of the world’s largest global debt and equity capital markets platforms. Our services and global presence enable us to complete large, multi-dimensional cross-border and regional transactions.

The desk is an origination and execution team focused on sovereign, corporate, and financial institution clients across Latin America and the Caribbean. The desk is integrated into Deutsche Bank’s global platform, working with coverage bankers and other product-specific partners across New York, Europe, Asia, and Brazil. Product partners include Syndicate, Liability Management, Sales and Trading, Rates and FX, and Loan Structuring, among others, who help deliver financing, capital-raising, and risk-management solutions to clients across Investment Grade and High Yield.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients focused on delivering advice on debt capital markets issuances and opportunities.
  • Create and deliver high-value financial analyses to a targeted universe of clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell other bank products with senior originators covering clients throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The team is largely geography-based; Analysts will function as generalists before focusing on specific clients according to preferences and team needs.
  • Participate in all aspects of the bond execution process, including origination, documentation, marketing, and distribution; daily tasks vary with the phase of current transactions.
  • Analyze comparable borrowers and assess appropriate new-issue pricing indications in consultation with Syndicate, producing spreadsheet models, roadshow presentations, and due diligence reports.

Skills You’ll Need

  • Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive product and market knowledge.
  • A proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities while generating revenue.
  • Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges, and seizing opportunities as they arise.

Expectations

The bank expects employees in this role to work in person in the New York, NY office.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $125,000. Actual salaries may be based on factors including but not limited to a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
