About Our Team

The Cloud, Digital, Data (Data) team helps clients optimise data and analytical assets to make better decisions, work more efficiently, and identify new sources of revenue. The team seeks to understand our clients’ challenges and identify ways to use data through data mining, modelling, and advanced predictive and simulation analytics to assist them in navigating the impact of various financial or operational changes to their business. We foster a supportive and diverse environment that emphasizes learning and growth, with exposure to a range of industries and clients.

About the Role

As part of the Cloud, Digital, Data (Data) team, you will support initiatives that help organisations leverage data and analytics to drive better decision-making, improve efficiency, and unlock new sources of value.

You will gain hands-on experience in analysing complex data, building analytical models, and translating insights into clear, actionable outputs. Working within a collaborative team, you will contribute to solving real business problems using data while developing strong technical and analytical capabilities across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyse complex client commercial, operational, and financial data to identify key trends, insights, and issues relevant to business challenges.
  • Design, build, and review analytical models to support data-driven solutions for client needs, ensuring outputs are structured and reliable.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise insights and communicate effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in interpreting results from analytical models to support decision-making and provide meaningful business context.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine analyses and outputs, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with engagement objectives.

About You

  • Penultimate year Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplines with a strong analytical and quantitative focus; students from local or overseas universities.
  • Pro-active, adaptable, and flexible. Able to apply new tools and techniques such as proprietary analytic software, data models, and programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to break down complex concepts and technical findings into clear, simple language.
  • Basic competency in one or more of the following areas:
    • Analytical software and languages (e.g., Power BI, Python, R)
    • Relational or graph databases and tools (e.g., SQL, SSMS, MySQL)
    • Knowledge of simulation or optimization software and theory (e.g., discrete choice, agent-based)
