Role Overview

Associate, Financial Information Systems is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Financial Information Systems, including Workday Financials and related applications. This role supports Workday Business Processes and custom validations, provides functional support across Workday Core Financials, Suppliers, Banking, Business Assets, Procurement, and Expenses, and collaborates with stakeholders to improve processes and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Financial Information Systems, including Workday Financials and related applications.
  • Assist with the configuration and support of Workday Business Processes and custom validations.
  • Provide functional support across Workday Core Financials, Suppliers, Banking, Business Assets, Procurement, and Expenses.
  • Troubleshoot system and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement practical solutions.
  • Support new releases, enhancements, and testing activities, including validation of configuration changes for supported applications.
  • Maintain process documentation and help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and strong operational controls.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve processes, enhance the end-user experience, and implement AI-driven solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
  • Support day-to-day user requests and contribute to a well-governed Financial Information System environment.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with security governance and its impact on financial processes and access.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Training & Experience

  • 4-year degree.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience supporting or administering Workday Financials.
  • Experience with Workday Business Process configuration and custom validations.
  • Familiarity with Workday security governance.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office is required.
  • Hedge fund, asset management, or other financial services experience preferred.

Compensation: For applicants based in NY, CA, and IL, the starting base pay range is USD 70,000 to USD 80,000 annually. Actual base pay depends on factors including relevant experience, business needs, and market conditions. This role may be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
