About BOS Trustee Limited

BOS Trustee Limited is the trust company owned by Bank of Singapore Limited. Headquartered in Singapore and regulated by MAS, the company provides trust administration services. The incumbent will support the business in trust administration activities as a team member of the trust company in administration of trust mandates.

Main Duties

Transactions Support

  • Support the transaction-related activity for the trust company in processing:
    • Distribution/Revocation requests on the structures
    • Internal transfers between bank accounts
    • Letter(s) of Instruction for ad hoc outward payments (e.g. payments of invoices)
    • Ad-hoc transaction-related support activities (e.g. property-related)
    • Terminations-related activity (e.g. trust-related document processing as required for transfer out of Trusteeships and/or Company(ies), liquidation)
  • In relation to the above, to:
    • Check and prepare the checklists, instructions, forms and letters as required (including trustee minutes, director’s resolutions, update of schedules)
    • Liaise with external parties/service providers (i.e. bank/nominee director) for execution, and to see to completion. Adhere to agreed service level delivery timelines.
    • Conduct name screenings where required in accordance with bank standards, and arrange for signature verifications
    • Arrange for relevant/exceptional approvals from Head Trustee, where necessary
    • Update accurate records as necessary (i.e. trust system and hard copy files as required)
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as required, including but not limited to updating department trackers, reporting, file maintenance, and archiving. Coordinate and track progress as necessary
  • Act in accordance with the core values (Lasting Value, Integrity, Forward-looking, Respect, Responsibility) of the organization, and demonstrate the highest standards of business and personal conduct

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in trust administration
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Team player
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Degree or Diploma holder
