Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst, or related role.
- Or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst, or related role.
- One (1) year of experience with:
- Python; SQL; VBA; R; Business Objects (including finance coverage across the platform, risk assessment and management, and business financing and management); Fixed Income Markets; Monetary Policy; Database Management to automate position analysis, recommending trading strategies, initiating trading and monitoring activities;
- Developing mathematical financial models, performing scenario analysis and stress testing;
- Microsoft Excel for ad-hoc analysis.
Salary & Benefits
For New York, NY only the salary range for this position is USD $136,000.00 – USD $155,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, and performance.

Our Hybrid Work Model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable collaboration and apprenticeship while supporting flexibility. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the option to work from home 1 day a week. Some groups may require more in-office time due to roles and responsibilities. This model is intended to accelerate learning and onboarding for new joiners.
