Investment Banking Analyst - Leverage Finance

Role

Are you a strong analytical and inventive thinker? Do you enjoy developing pitch ideas for stakeholders, clients and investors? We’re looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to support the Leverage Finance team with deal execution and client coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend strategies to meet client goals
• Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• Identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors
• Create and analyze financial models for financing transactions
• Assess and analyze credit risk as the first line of defense
• Prepare materials and present recommendations to the credit committee
• Assist in syndicating underwritten financing to investors, which requires deep understanding of credit risk
• Manage and support the development of junior investment bankers

Your team

You’ll be working in the Leverage Finance team based in New York.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly
• Ability to partner with other groups across the bank
