Your Job

We are expanding our Fab Operations and are looking for Process Engineers. In this role you will sustain and improve process / SPC to meet quality, cost, and productivity requirements. Process improvement to eliminate inherent process weaknesses to achieve company goals.

  • Analyze SPC charts using SPACE. Know all the PR rules and their significance.
  • Perform proper annotation to maintain quality troubleshooting rate for SPC OOC. Understand Cp and Cpk indices.
  • Review ESPC charts using SPACE. Know all the rules for ESPC.
  • Analyze split lot, DOE data, ET, sort yield using JMP, Klarity ACE.
  • Create SPC charts, DCOP and modify SLDB using PROMIS (Si-View).
  • Upload recipe, check recipe and ensure recipe content compliance using RMS.
  • Raise PCRB and understand the requirements for PCRB opening; follow through with qual plan, analyze data using required software and CR closure.
  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, or spec updates with ECN. Provide guidance to junior Engineers.
  • Startup and qualify new processes and new equipment within scheduled timelines. Work closely with Equipment Engineer on new equipment acceptance. Understand the concepts of repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) runs.
  • Analyze data from passed down to identify chronic process issues, establish improvement programs and lead engineers to resolve them. Establish CAS / procedures to be followed and work with other departments for resolution if required.
  • Coach and train Engineers on using toolsets more effectively. Provide feedback/ training to Process Engineers on troubleshooting skills, understanding of processes, decision making, and risk assessment.
  • Lead Engineers on improvement projects, process window studies, and provide improvement plans to reduce OOC and improve Cp/Kp. Coach engineers on process matching between equipment to reduce variation. Perform analysis / DOE to find factors for better tool matching.
  • Work as a team with Equipment and Mfg Engineers to meet Module objectives. Drive the team to meet key indices of Uptime and OEE as per the goals set for these indices.
  • Take on a leadership role to drive a small cross-functional task team to address yield improvement/ excursion issues.
  • Discuss integration-related issues and understand process flows.
  • Resolve complex technical issues in own Module or yield-related issues.
  • Follow up with cross-fab benchmarking activities to adopt best-in-campus practices across fabs.
  • Self-audit and update specifications / documentation to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
  • Multiple Open positions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer process engineering.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
  • Perform normal / swing shift (or 12-hour rotating shift if required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in foundry or similar industry background is an added advantage.
  • Analytical with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team player.
