Job Description

KPMG's Tax Planning and Compliance team assists clients with preparing and submitting income tax returns and computations, addressing queries and resolving complex tax issues with tax authorities, managing tax affairs, identifying legitimate tax savings opportunities while ensuring compliance with tax laws, providing income tax planning and advisory services, assisting with applications to relevant authorities for tax incentives, and conducting tax due diligence reviews.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and delivering tax planning ideas and approaches that offer value to clients’ businesses.
• Preparing and submitting income tax returns and computations.
• Attending to queries and resolving complex tax issues with tax authorities.
• Managing clients’ tax-related matters, including identifying tax savings while complying with tax laws.
• Preparing applications to relevant authorities for tax incentives and conducting tax due diligence reviews.

Ideal Candidate

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.
• Knowledge of Singapore Corporate Tax is advantageous.
• A strong team player with a track record of academic and co-curricular achievements.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numeracy, meticulous with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with colleagues from various levels and functions.
