Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop processes for high-volume manufacturing (HVM), including variability reduction, recipe development, defectivity reduction, and process optimization for technologies such as FinFET and Si Photonics.
  • Sustain production line with daily SPC monitoring, improve CpK, and provide troubleshooting support for process and tool issues.
  • Enhance process robustness using statistical tools, design of experiments (DOE), data-driven decision making, and systematic problem solving.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement for throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
  • Train shift technicians to execute business processes in a 24x7 HVM production environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including equipment suppliers, equipment engineers, technicians, CFM (contamination-free manufacturing) team, PI (process integration) team, cost management, and quality assurance teams.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a related field, or foreign equivalent plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in the offered job or related engineering roles.
  • 1 year of experience in:
    • SPACE SPC tools to monitor and control the quality of manufacturing processes
    • FMEA line yield improvements
    • Creating and improving Corrective Action Specifications
    • Semiconductor equipment
    • Design of Experiments (DOE)
    • Tool matching and performance improvements

Compensation

Expected Salary Range: $105,678 - $120,000/year

The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
