Responsibilities
- Participate in defining, implementing, and promoting Digital Business Development requirements and innovations to facilitate digital business growth.
- Promote and monitor institutional business across FX and Fixed Income products in third-party digital channels.
- Represent GSS in New York in defining and implementing global Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Workstream initiatives.
- Assist in defining eCommerce strategy and working plans to meet internal and external customer needs.
- Interact with clients and attend visits with other GM areas, reinforcing BBVA relationships.
- Participate in defining and developing the Business Intelligence framework for Sales in Global Markets and regularly prepare and distribute periodic and ad-hoc reports based on client electronic activity.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other business-related majors.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish preferred but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience with Global Market products: Fixed Income securities, Derivatives, FX.
- Experience or knowledge of third-party electronic platforms: MarketAxess, Tradeweb, Bloomberg, FXAll, BidFx, Portware, 360T, and others.
- SIE and Series 7 license required (or willing to obtain within 6 months).

Compensation & employment eligibility
For this position in our New York office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained, as well as market and organizational factors. In addition to salary, a generous benefits package and a discretionary bonus may be available.
Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
