ETD Voice Trader

Role

Are you early in your career and looking to build hands-on experience in Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) within a fast-paced markets environment? Do you have an interest in client execution, market dynamics, and learning from experienced sales traders? We’re looking for someone who is motivated, detail oriented, and eager to develop, who can:

• support senior sales traders in delivering high quality voice execution across Exchange Traded Derivatives
• assist with high touch and low touch client order handling, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and best execution
• help provide day to day coverage to Global Markets ETD clients, including order taking, trade booking, and post trade follow up
• work closely with ETD Clearing Sales (relationship managers) and internal partners to help deliver consistent and reliable client service
• contribute to client interactions by sharing market colour, execution updates, and relevant information under guidance
• ensure all activity is conducted in line with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, desk policies, limits, and controls
• continuously build product, market, and systems knowledge through on the job learning and training

Team & Location

You’ll be working in our Global Markets Execution Services team in Singapore. We have a well established derivatives franchise covering both Over The Counter (OTC) and Listed products, across voice execution and electronic trading. Our role is to provide clients with a comprehensive, front to back execution and clearing solution. As a junior member of the team, you’ll gain broad exposure to markets, products, and clients while being supported by experienced traders and sales professionals.

Your Expertise

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in financial markets, trading, sales trading, execution services, or a related role
• a basic understanding of listed derivatives and financial markets, with a strong desire to deepen ETD product knowledge
• interest in both voice (high touch) and electronic (low touch) execution channels
• strong numerical and analytical skills, with curiosity about market behaviour
• clear and professional communication skills
• high attention to detail, with a strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness
• a collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
• able to remain calm and effective in a fast moving trading environment
• motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering a strong client experience
