Emerging Markets Sales – London

The Emerging Markets Sales team in London operates as a dynamic, multi-asset desk within a fast-paced trading floor environment. The team trades a diverse range of financial products, including Local bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, FX, FX Options, and Credit derivatives. Focused on Latin American, Turkish, and Middle Eastern markets, the desk covers a client base across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. The team actively drives market engagement through international conferences and client meetings.

What You Will Do

• Trading Floor Support: Assist the sales team with daily desk activities, supporting workflow and learning directly from experienced professionals.
• Data & Reconciliation: Assist with basic data analysis and post-trade reconciliation between Front Office and Back Office.
• Administrative Assistance: Help organize meetings or client calls, take notes, and create summaries for the team.
• Reporting Collaboration: Support administrative and analytical tasks, such as revenue reporting and day-to-day desk operations.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Recent graduate (or currently seeking a placement/gap year) with a clear career focus on Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Languages: English is mandatory; Spanish or Turkish language skills are valued.
• Key Competencies: Strong interest in financial markets and products, basic problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and Gmail.
• Mindset: A strong desire to learn, great attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
