Role Overview
The overall objective of the Global Client Manager role is to facilitate and own the delivery of the end-to-end onboarding journey for the Corporate Priority Client base, across the global Client Management network. Acting as a global single point of escalation both internally and externally, orchestrating client outreach, coordinating KYC New to Bank and all related onboarding functions for Corporate client sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage our highest value clients in a client-facing capacity, where professionalism, client focus, and a strong understanding of Policy and GBM (Global Banking Markets) products are essential.
- Operate with a strong leadership and commercial focus ensuring alignment to business objectives, while enabling the right service delivery to enhance the client’s experience in a controlled and risk-focused environment.
- Thrive in an environment with substantial leadership potential, where a track record in management is beneficial, with strong potential for team leadership in this role.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of, and adherence to, local and global compliance requirements critical to the role’s success.
- Demonstrate integrity and consistently uphold HSBC’s Business Principles and Values while delivering business objectives.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Global Markets products, including the legal agreements and regulations governing trading in such products.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritize effectively, and execute under pressure.
- Ability to build excellent working relationships across all business units.
- Excellent influencing, negotiating, and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Self-starter who can identify activities required to meet business unit needs.
- Ability to lead and motivate other managers and staff, engaging with product or functional partners across geographies.
- High-energy characteristics to support the needs of the business and the sector-aligned operating model.
- Developed management skills with experience in team building and managing a wide range of projects.
- Experience in managing operational risks through close monitoring and continuous improvement.

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
