Analyst, Corporate Banking
As an Analyst in Corporate Banking, you will support senior officers of the firm and work in a demanding environment to develop customized financial solutions for clients. You will collaborate with Executive Directors and Vice Presidents on all client activities (marketing, execution, and ongoing relationship management) and work with a team to draw from the firm’s resources to meet each client’s needs. You will manage internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, regulatory reporting, and ongoing client relationship management.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationships and developing a new client base
- Coordinate with partners across the firm to develop proficiency across products within Banking, Payments, Markets, Asset Management, Credit, DCM, FX, Rates, Commodities, Asset Management, and Investor Services
- Prepare customized pitch books and other marketing materials to generate new business and review existing relationships and setups; understand clients’ cash management structure and objectives to anticipate their needs
- Prepare internal approval documents such as credit memos and committee approvals
- Assist with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements, summarize investor presentations, and support credit approval and documentation processes)
- Conduct industry and company research
- Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, and senior management briefings or memos
- Support projects as requested
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic credentials
- Proficiency in Spanish
- High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence, and teamwork
- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel-based modeling and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel-based modeling
- Proficiency with research tools including Bloomberg
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- One year of experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or Credit
