Personal Banker SAFE Act, Bilingual: English/Russian Preferred, Brooklyn Area

Job Summary

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level role responsible for assisting in the execution of sales, product, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The objective is to foster relationships with customers to build loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K; recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross-sell treasury and related small business products.
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program.
• Help implement strategies to grow the small business client and execute appropriate sales plans targeting Book of Business customers.
• Deliver client services through outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships via cross-sell of relevant products and services while delivering a remarkable client experience.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch staff on products, programs, client needs, and referrals.
• Identify client transaction needs, educate on service and digital channels, leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities, and present product offers and financial solutions.
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess risk with business decisions, safeguarding the firm’s reputation, clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, upholding policy, exercising sound ethical judgment, and escalating/reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Salary

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $61,280.00 – $85,520.00
