2026 APAC Long Internship (Jul - Dec) – Securities Services, Private Capital
Location: Singapore
For: Undergraduate students in any discipline from a recognized university

What you will do
The Private Capital Intern plays a critical role in the Private Capital team. The role requires technical expertise in processing and reviewing functions related to PC Loan Administration services delivered to BNP Paribas’ client base. The role is responsible for the output and service delivery of the PC team and will provide technical expertise for all middle office and back-office activities. The role focuses on daily delivery for PC assets and also supports onboarding and transitions, as well as business change projects and improvements to ensure a consistent and sustainable operating model.
- Participate in onboarding of new transactions: portfolio/asset assessment and operational risks based on documentation.
- Maintain daily the loan administration tool with portfolio activities.
- Perform daily production work in collaboration with internal and external teams (Asset Manager, Loan/Facility Agent, Fund Administrator, Custodian, Cash Team, Depositary, etc.).
- Establish operational procedures and checklists; provide recommendations as needed.
- Fulfill all requirements as set in the control framework.
- Ensure seamless work processes with the international offshoring center (IOC).
- Perform asset documentation reviews and assess operation structure to understand the deal and its points of attention.
- Review asset documentation to capture relevant data into the Loan Administration system and set up the system per asset documentation.
- Manage and follow up existing transactions; perform cash and portfolio reconciliation.
- Monitor asset restructuration and its impact (cost, accrual, new entries, etc.).
- Maintain assets: cash interest, PIK, fees (commitment, arrangement, participation).
- Update the Loan Administration system and manage notices; follow up and resolve anomalies (internal and external).
- Follow up on payments/receivables and maintain the operational memo.
