Role Summary
As a BDR, you will cultivate strategic, enterprise, and mid-market accounts by partnering with our Sales teams to build opportunities in existing and new accounts.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Choose prospecting plays personalized to the account or territory, aligned with Splunk and your own discretion.
- Partner with sales to create pipeline in the assigned region of Hong Kong.
- Design your own campaigns by curating from our existing campaign library, partnering with sales and marketing.
- Identify initiatives and projects for assigned accounts, articulate why the initiative is important, and demonstrate how Splunk fits in.
- Demonstrated ability to sell or build pipeline for SaaS solutions (1+ years).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Account Based Marketing (ABM) experience is a plus.
- Proven success applying solutions to address customer challenges and achieve outcomes; ability to holistically consider prospect needs to recommend appropriate products or services.
- Experience running a sales pipeline that coordinates and supervises sales activities, customer interactions, and other signals key to generating predictable revenue.
- Experience developing and implementing effective account planning strategies to identify key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and tailor sales approaches.
- Ability to deliver concise value propositions that convince buyers of the worth of your products or services.
- Adept at evaluating potential prospects to determine likelihood of conversion.
- Successful prospecting experience, including applying industry knowledge and client market intelligence to secure initial meetings.
- Adaptable to changing situations and priorities; thrives in a dynamic sales environment.
- Strong resilience to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
- Collaborative mindset; works toward common goals with prospects, customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Time management skills; can work independently to achieve goals.
- Problem-solving orientation; focuses on solutions to resolve customer and sales challenges.
Language
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
