Fab Assistant

Job Description

Semiconductor Fabrication Operator: Performs wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. Operates equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch, and diffusion. Calibrates and runs process equipment and processes in the fabrication environment. Determines and/or follows techniques to troubleshoot and implement corrective action to bring processes within control parameters.

Responsibilities

• Work on assignments with clearly defined objectives using standard procedures and tools.
• Deliver output under close supervision and guidance.
• Solve problems that require knowledge of specific processes and procedures.
• Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment; have little or no role in decision-making.
• Share information within the team.

Qualifications

• Skill: Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment; has little or no role in decision-making.
• Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work; works under close supervision.
• Experience: Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
