Metrology Data Analytics for Workstation Conversion Evaluation

Project Description

Advanced metrology techniques are critical enablers in Micron’s cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing processes. This internship project focuses on the application of data analytics and AI-enabled techniques to study and evaluate metrology workstation conversion scenarios.

The intern will work on a structured, project-based assignment involving analysis of metrology data sets and manufacturing context to assess process performance, measurement capability, and potential trade-offs associated with workstation conversion. Through this project, the intern will gain exposure to metrology fundamentals, manufacturing analytics workflows, and engineering decision-making frameworks used in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Objective of the Project

  • To develop foundational understanding of semiconductor metrology and its role in manufacturing integration
