Project Finance Intern
Internship Period: 3 August 2026 – 31 December 2026
Role
Job Description:
The role is primarily to support the Shared Resource Team (SRT) within MUFG’s project finance practice, which will involve origination, execution and management of financial advisory and limited recourse financing transactions in the power, renewables, oil & gas, natural resources and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
Work scope will include but not be limited to:
- Conducting analysis and running financial models to evaluate bankability of projects and support credit decision making
- Research and review of relevant industry information and available due diligence reports
- Preparing business and credit memos to pursue business opportunities
- Generating presentation materials, pitchbooks and proposals
- Preparing credit papers
- Other ad hoc and administrative functions including KYC checks, client onboarding procedures, data entries into bank systems, etc.

Job Requirement:
Skill set:
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Good oral and writing skills
- Ability to work with and eventually assist in building complex financial models
- Basic accounting and strong finance background

Location & Eligibility
This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
