Corporate Banking Intern - Financial Institutions Singapore

Internship Period: 3 Aug 2026 – 31 Dec 2026

About the Role

This position sits within the Corporate Banking team in Singapore, within the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia. We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our team and work with our relationship managers to provide an integrated client experience across clients.

Job Description

• Assist in relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct coverage clients with local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions teams.
• Support team activities across the deal lifecycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring.
• Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
• Prepare client presentations and develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching.
• Prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval processes.
• Gain professional growth by working with experienced stakeholders within the team and collaborating with different banking products (Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets – Loans and Bonds, Transaction Banking, etc.).
• Develop presentation and communication skills with opportunities to present projects or case studies to business partners and management.

Job Requirements

• Keen interest in the finance industry with relevant prior internship experience.
• Strong skills in pitch book creation, credit, and financial statement analysis.
• Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn.
• Strong ethical behavior and alignment with MUFG’s core values.
