Corporate Banking Intern - Financial Institutions Singapore
Internship Period: 3 Aug 2026 – 31 Dec 2026
About the Role
This position sits within the Corporate Banking team in Singapore, within the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia. We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our team and work with our relationship managers to provide an integrated client experience across clients.
Job Description
- Assist in relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct coverage clients with local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions teams.
- Support team activities across the deal lifecycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring.
- Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
- Prepare client presentations and develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching.
- Prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval processes.
- Gain professional growth by working with experienced stakeholders within the team and collaborating with different banking products (Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets – Loans and Bonds, Transaction Banking, etc.).
- Develop presentation and communication skills with opportunities to present projects or case studies to business partners and management.
Job Requirements
- Keen interest in the finance industry with relevant prior internship experience.
- Strong skills in pitch book creation, credit, and financial statement analysis.
- Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn.
- Strong ethical behavior and alignment with MUFG’s core values.

Location & Eligibility
This internship role is based in Singapore and is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
