Strategic Planning and Business Execution Intern

Internship Period: 3 August 2026 to 31 December 2026

Job Description

  • Support planning and strategy functions related to multiple business initiatives, such as balance sheet optimization, customer tiering, and senior sponsorship programs.
  • Perform marketing support and reporting tasks, including designing toolkits and templates, gathering information from branches, analyzing regional data, and creating reports and presentations for management.
  • Enhance business development through effective communication between branches, various product offices, and regional office functions.
  • Participate in and gain exposure to governance frameworks in the APAC region for both business promotion and 1st line of defence; involve in the deal screening process to secure profitability, efficient capital allocation, and cross-sell opportunities submitted by branches across APAC.
  • Conduct financial data analysis, track regional portfolio data, and propose enhancements and action plans.
  • Support the Business Intelligence and analytics team with data preparation and data support.
  • Provide insights on business strategy and market penetration as regional HQ.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across the Corporate Banking portfolio, products, and the broader industry.

Job Requirements

  • Keen eye for detail with intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Growth mindset and self-starter who is motivated to identify opportunities and solutions.
  • Capability to be both people- and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken language is required.
  • Proficiency in any Asian languages is beneficial, as the role involves coordination with regional partners speaking other Asian languages.
  • Willing and able to multi-task and deliver work under demanding timelines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
  • Fresh perspective with own opinions and openness to discussion.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Willingness to problem-solve and hustle to find solutions, with positivity and a can-do attitude.
