Job Description

The role primarily supports MUFG’s CMG practice, involving loans and bonds origination and execution as well as loan distribution. The work scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Prepare pitchbooks and materials for client meetings and follow-ups
• Provide regular market and pricing updates for internal and external clients
• Perform analytical work for client funding or corporate requirements
• Support the CMG Loans and Bonds deal lead in the internal approvals process
• Coordinate between all internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closing
• Conduct deal execution aspects including due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, and post-mortems

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with and eventually assist in building complex financial models
• Basic accounting and strong finance background
• Energetic individual who is a determined problem solver with a strong work ethic
• Good team player

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
