Corporate Banking Intern - Global Subsidiary Banking Singapore
Internship Period: 3 August 2026 – 31 December 2026
Role and Team
This position sits within the Corporate Banking of Singapore team in the Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia. We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our team and work with our relationship managers to provide an integrated client experience across clients.
Job Description
- Assist in the relationship management and coverage of Singapore direct coverage clients with the respective local corporates, global subsidiary banking, and financial institutions teams.
- Support team activities on the deal life cycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution and post-deal monitoring.
- Support execution of corporate financing transactions for clients.
- Prepare client presentations and develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching.
- Prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval processes.
- Gain professional growth by working with various experienced stakeholders within the team and co-working with different Banking products (Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets – Loans and Bonds, Transaction Banking, etc.).
- Develop presentation and communication skills with the opportunity to present projects and/or case studies to business partners and management.
Job Requirements
- Keen interest in working in the Finance industry with relevant prior internship experience.
- Strong skillset in pitch book creation, credit and financial statement analysis.
- Action-oriented, energetic and entrepreneurial.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn.
- Strong ethical behaviour and alignment with MUFG’s core values.

Location & Eligibility
This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
