Internship Opportunity: Global Corporate Sales Intern
Transaction Banking Office for Asia (TBOA) – Sales Department, Global Corporate Sales Department (SD - GCST)
Internship Period: 3 August 2026 – 31 December 2026
Job Description
You will have the opportunity to be part of our team to support the regional Transaction Banking sales department in the following areas:
Sales & Client Support
- Up-tier regional marketing templates to showcase MUFG TB capabilities for TB Sales Teams to use when making client presentations
- Conduct client (internal and public sources) research in preparation for client meetings
- Support the creation of Request-For-Proposal responses for key clients to pitch MUFG TB capabilities and help capture sales
- Support in client deal implementation, including coordination with internal stakeholders across coverage, TB Product, Onboarding and Implementation
Data Analysis & Insights
- Create data gathering templates to easily obtain and collate regional Transaction Banking (TB) sales data across numerous countries
- Develop management reporting tools to help management analyze data and obtain meaningful insights for decision making
- Perform data analysis to draw meaningful conclusions and support decision making
Project Coordination & Other Support
- Assist in creating project plans to implement regional sales projects
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to obtain updates and inputs
- Monitor project progress and present periodic updates to stakeholders
What You Will Learn
- Overview of Transaction Banking solutions across cash management, liquidity, and trade
- Understanding of the end-to-end deal lifecycle from client pitch through to implementation
- Opportunity to understand a client’s treasury needs and how MUFG positions their solution suite
- Exposure to preparing for client meetings and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders within the Bank
Job Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Desirable: project management, marketing, and analytical skills
