Overview
As a Foresight Business Analyst at Kearney, you will contribute to the growth of our Foresight Practice by offering honest advice and practical guidance to clients. The Foresight team helps C-suite leaders anticipate disruption, shape resilient strategies, and harness emerging opportunities across a changing global environment. We integrate geopolitical, macroeconomic, and policy insight with Kearney’s transformation and operations expertise, delivering anticipation and execution for client engagements globally.
Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Consulting Delivery
- Support client engagements focused on policy impact analysis and long-term strategic planning using foresight methodologies, including scenario planning and trends analysis
- Conduct structured qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform client recommendations
- Develop clear, compelling client deliverables (PPT presentations, briefings, reports) that translate complex insights into actionable implications for senior decision-makers
Thought Leadership
- Research macroeconomic, geopolitical, regulatory, technological, and societal trends shaping the global and regional operating environment
- Synthesize diverse data sources into coherent narratives, insights, and analytical frameworks
- Contribute to foresight-driven perspectives that inform client work and broader firm thinking
Knowledge, Tools, and Capability Building
- Contribute to the development of internal tools, methodologies, and knowledge assets related to foresight and long-term strategy
- Support the preparation of proposals, qualifications, and internal briefings for Foresight-led work
Who you are
We look for collaborative, insightful, and inquisitive problem-solvers who are unapologetically themselves and able to connect facts, figures, insights, strategies, tools, technologies, and people.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in economics, international affairs, political science, or related fields; ideally with practical experience in those areas
- Have prior experience or internships in consulting, government, policy analysis, research, strategy, or similarly rigorous analytical environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate qualitative and quantitative inputs
- Excellent written communication skills for clear, structured content for senior audiences
- Comfort working with ambiguity and framing complex, open-ended problems
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for teamwork
- High attention to detail, consistency, and quality
- Curious about global affairs, policy, economics, and long-term trends
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Forward-looking mindset and enthusiasm for foresight-driven problem solving
- Located near or willing to relocate to Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, Washington D.C., Mexico City, or Toronto

Business Analyst base salary: $100,000–$103,000. Salaries are configured within ranges based on education, experience, location, knowledge, and skills. Compensation is reviewed regularly and may be adjusted for market competitiveness. Eligible for discretionary performance bonuses. Benefits include paid time off, paid sick leave, 401(k) match and profit sharing, medical, dental, and vision coverage, healthcare concierge, backup child/adult care, annual HSA contribution, home office stipend, subsidized Gympass, wellness program, and leaves of absence when needed.
