Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst to join our Healthcare team within the Investment Banking Division. You will be a key player in executing the firm’s business, working with expert professionals at a leading global investment bank. You will receive training, hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring, and development opportunities. You will contribute to the firm’s M&A execution and capital-raising capabilities, helping build J.P. Morgan's franchise and reputation in the marketplace. You will develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking and become a senior client executive capable of generating and executing your own transactions. Responsibilities
- Execute transactions: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaising with relevant counterparties (clients, advisers, accounting, legal, etc.).
- Collaborate with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams.
- Build and use complex financial models, and perform valuation and analytical exercises.
- Draft presentation materials, management presentations, Board materials, memorandums, and other materials for M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue. Keep abreast of key market developments and develop knowledge of target clients and relevant market dynamics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role.
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution-oriented mindset.
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders in other lines of business.
