Internship Duration

The internship will begin on either 5 January 2026 or 16 February 2026, and will end on 29 May 2026. There is an option to extend the internship, with the extended period concluding on 31 July 2026.

What You Can Expect to Learn

Learn about system-on-chip product architecture, test program development processes using industry-standard Agile methodologies, and new product development processes.

Project Overview

Develop tools and applications targeted to optimize test development and qualification activities of the next generation server microprocessors using cutting-edge AMD technology. Work with the Enterprise test team on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to develop automated tools to optimize test development and debug activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop automation tools to increase test development and debug efficiency.
  • Handle qualification and characterization activities, including data analysis, reject validation, and reporting.
  • Perform test program checkout and correlation.
  • Support test module owners in minor test program modifications and experiments.

Who Are We Looking For

Relevant Skillsets

  • Basic understanding of electronics and computing systems.
  • Basic ability to program in a Linux/Windows environment using programming/scripting languages (C++, Python, Java, Perl, Ruby).

Academic Credentials

Background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
