Software QA Engineer (1-year Fixed Term Contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with project managers in the early planning stages to understand project scope and requirements.
• Develop manual and automated test cases from project specifications.
• Plan and schedule test strategies for each software project.
• Repeatedly test each project release and log bugs in the bug database.
• Work closely with Software Engineers to resolve software bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, to improve product quality.

Pre-Requisites

• Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of software testing experience preferred.
• Experience in C/C++/C# coding.
• Clear communication and documentation skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with external associates and handle documents.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to work with engineers and third parties in different time zones.
• Windows application automation experience is a plus.
