Ulula

Ulula was acquired by EcoVadis in September 2024 and now recruits through EcoVadis's hiring process: a recruiter conversation, one or two rounds with the hiring team and future teammates combining behavioural and situational questions, completion of a role-specific task or case study, and reference checks ahead of an offer. EcoVadis states that "key roles may require additional steps." A candidate should confirm early whether a given role carries that extra step, since it changes how the loop lines up against deadlines running in parallel at other firms.

Ulula, part of EcoVadis since the September 2024 acquisition, recruits interns through EcoVadis's Discovery Internship Program, a full-time summer internship starting in June with 14 cross-department paths:

• Locations include Barcelona, Spain and Warsaw, Poland
• Individual tracks run three to four months
• Functions span software development, IT, HR operations, compliance and legal, and sales development and marketing
• Applicants submit an English-language CV and a cover letter of up to 400 words

The fourteen tracks are independent application pools with separate hiring teams, so matching a track to a candidate's strongest experience matters more than applying to several at once.

Ulula's worker-voice technology now sits inside EcoVadis, which Forrester named one of four leaders among nine major providers evaluated in its Q3 2022 New Wave for ESG Ratings, Data, And Analytics, a category that also includes Bloomberg, MSCI, Moody's and S&P Global. EcoVadis holds ESG data on close to 100,000 companies, most privately held, which Forrester called "a truly unique asset." For an early-career hire, that scale means the work sits inside the incumbent a graduate would otherwise be weighing against the other names in that same Forrester evaluation, not against an early-stage ESG startup.
