Texas Instruments runs two early-career paths, set out on its students and new grads page: internships for current students, and the Career Accelerator Program for recent graduates. TI says it takes on an average of more than 2,000 interns a year, spanning engineering tracks — analog and digital IC design, applications, process and packaging, test and validation, systems and software — and business tracks in operations, finance, IT, HR and marketing. Texas Instruments does not set fixed application deadlines. With no deadline to anchor to, the timing risk inverts: a role can close the moment it is filled, so submitting early in a posting's life matters more than hitting a cut-off, and a candidate tracking specific teams should apply as soon as the req appears rather than batching applications to a single season.

Texas Instruments is one of the world's largest makers of analog and embedded processing chips, and unusually for a chip company of its scale it owns and runs its own wafer fabs rather than outsourcing to foundries. Its company overview cites 15 manufacturing sites worldwide and an explicit strategy of expanding internal manufacturing capacity; the company has committed more than $60 billion to new 300mm wafer fabs across Texas and Utah (Manufacturing Dive). That vertical integration widens the role map well beyond design: a large share of TI's engineering openings sit in process, equipment, packaging and manufacturing engineering — functions a fabless employer does not staff — so it is worth prioritising for an applicant targeting semiconductor process or fab work rather than circuit design alone.
