OC&C's application page lists five early-career tracks:

• Graduate Internship — an 8-week summer placement (June–August), open only to students in the penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Begins with a week of consulting-toolkit training, followed by a live client project.
• Associate Consultant – Strategy — the full-time graduate entry route into the strategy practice, drawing generalists across degree backgrounds; PhDs and post-docs join at the same Associate Consultant level, with an additional joining bonus.
• Associate Consultant – Analytics — a parallel entry track into the Analytics practice, oriented to economics, mathematics, computer science, or statistics backgrounds with prior data and (any) programming exposure.
• MBA Summer Intern — 8-week placement with consultant-level responsibilities for MBA students.
• MBA Consultant — the post-MBA full-time entry route.

Strategy Associate Consultants can choose between January, March, or September start dates, so a candidate whose degree ends outside the standard June graduation window is not forced into a single September cohort.

OC&C runs distinct application windows for each early-career track, per the firm's application page:

• Associate Consultant – Strategy — opens early September, deadline early November
• Associate Consultant – Analytics — opens early September, deadline mid-November
• MBA — three application windows running August–September, March–April, and October–January, with candidate feedback expected within three weeks of close

All non-MBA tracks are screened on a rolling basis, with applicants likely to be sent the online test before the vacancy formally closes. A candidate applying to multiple OC&C entry points is therefore running two separate autumn windows — the September-opening Associate Consultant tracks and the October-opening internship — against the same university term, and the binding date for each is the moment of submission rather than the printed deadline.
