Crusoe

Crusoe runs a named Early Careers program spanning software engineering and other business functions, built around an assigned mentor, manager goal-setting, talent-development sessions, fireside chats with company leaders, and a project presented back to the team at the end. The program has run for multiple consecutive years: Crusoe's own LinkedIn postings show a "University | Intern - Software Engineer" cohort as early as Summer 2024, alongside a Summer 2026 cohort. In its 2025 intern survey, 91% of interns said they'd recommend the internship to a friend, and 93% and 94% said the same of their manager and mentor respectively. Crusoe treats the internship as a hiring pipeline - "we view every intern as a potential full-time hire" - but does not publish cohort dates or open tracks on the program page itself, so a candidate has to monitor the job board directly rather than plan around an announced window.

Crusoe closed a $1.375 billion Series E in October 2025 at a valuation of more than $10 billion, co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital with NVIDIA among the participating investors, a raise independently reported by Axios around the same date. In March 2026, Fast Company named Crusoe the No. 3 company in its Computing category on its World's Most Innovative Companies list, citing the firm's vertically integrated model of building its own power supply, data centers, and cloud software rather than buying capacity from others. For an early-career applicant, that combination signals a company still in rapid build-out rather than one operating lean off an older round, and a business model spanning energy, construction, and cloud software means an engineering or operations role here can touch parts of the infrastructure stack that a pure cloud-software employer would buy from someone else.
