The programmes
Campbell Lutyens' careers page lists two early-career routes: an internship for university students in their penultimate year, running across the firm's global offices, and the Graduate Programme for final-year students and recent graduates.
Both feed the same three business lines.
- Graduate Programme: opens with a two-week training programme in London for the international cohort, covering primary placement, secondary advisory and GP capital advisory plus the regulatory exams; graduates are then "integrated directly into one of our three teams: Primaries, Secondaries, or GP Capital Advisory" and start on live mandates.
- Eligibility: Bachelor's with a minimum 2:1 (or Master's) in Finance/Economics, Science or Humanities, plus the firm's stated "minimum 2-6 months experience gained within financial services (ideally private equity or M&A)".
The prior-experience requirement is the distinctive filter: this is not a standing graduate scheme open to any final-year student. A candidate without a relevant summer internship is effectively out of contention, so the realistic path is internship-first, then the Graduate Programme the cycle after.
