We support and partner with the commerce ecosystem, from large retailers to small local merchants, providing tools, technology, and scale to thrive in today’s digital world.
Responsibilities
- Work extensively in a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering seamless, cross-platform (e.g., Android and iOS) shopping experiences to Google Pay users.
- Partner effectively with Product Manager (PM) and User Experience (UX) leads to build new user-facing experiences, and collaborate with cross-Product Area (PA) partner teams (e.g., Google Shopping and Augmented Reality and Machine Learning (ARML)) to integrate AI/ML models into the client.
- Develop and iterate on Large Language Model (LLM) prompts and AI infrastructure to improve the quality of conversational AI experiences.
- Conduct AI evaluations, including operational and qualitative assessments for conversational AI responses and image/video GenAI results.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with Android application development.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with back-end coding languages such as Go (Golang), Rust, or Java.
- Experience in Machine Learning (ML) model coding languages (e.g., Python).
