Overview

Arthur D. Little offers internships for students approaching graduation and for recent graduates. Consulting interns typically join Arthur D. Little for a 3–6 month period and are active members of project teams, often executing responsibilities similar to full-time junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Use strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate and assess data
• Develop customized analysis tools
• Synthesize analytical results to provide action-oriented recommendations
• Work with clients and team members to develop and implement innovative solutions
• Take initiative in client engagements and internal projects
• Communicate results and discuss issues with project teams and, on occasion, clients
• Gain immediate responsibility for project deliverables

The role requires creative thinking and problem-solving skills, along with strong quantitative capability, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Outstanding students in their final year, approaching graduation, or recent graduates from a leading school or university
• Academic records demonstrating significant analytical or quantitative experience, typically from a numerate discipline (e.g., mathematics, science, economics, business, or engineering)
• Highly analytical, credible, and charismatic profile with strong presentation skills and a professional demeanor
• Previous relevant experience (e.g., through an internship or similar analytical/research role) where knowledge and skills were successfully applied
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English (additional languages desirable)
• Highly motivated self-starter and strong team player
