Overview

Arthur D. Little offers internships for students approaching graduation and for recent graduates. Consulting interns join project teams and typically execute responsibilities similar to those of full-time junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Use strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate and assess data
• Develop customized analysis tools
• Synthesize analytical results to provide action-oriented recommendations
• Work with clients and team members to develop and implement innovative solutions
• Take initiative in both client engagements and internal projects
• Communicate results and discuss issues with project teams and, on occasion, clients
• Take immediate responsibility for project deliverables

The role requires creative thinking and problem solving, along with strong quantitative, interpersonal, and team-working skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Outstanding students in their final year of studies approaching graduation, or recent graduates from a leading school or university
• Academic records demonstrating significant analytical or quantitative experience, typically from a numerate discipline (e.g., mathematics, science, economics, business, and engineering)
• Highly analytical, credible, and charismatic profile with strong presentation skills and a professional demeanor
• Previous relevant experience in an analytical/research role (via internship or otherwise), including applying knowledge and skills effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English (additional language skills are desirable)
• Motivated self-starter and strong team player
