Responsibilities

• Conduct research on global macroeconomic events, policy developments, financial markets, and cryptocurrencies.
• Support the preparation of materials for daily updates and weekly macro discussions.
• Assist in developing, backtesting, and optimizing trading strategies and quantitative models.
• Update and improve trading analytics and visualization tools for the desk.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using AI coding and research assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) as a working tool—able to prompt effectively, verify output, and accelerate workflows without introducing errors into a live trading environment.
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and visualization is preferred.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal and Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, and charting) is preferred.
